Who We Are & What We Do

WILLIMANTIC:  Willimantic is the name of the river that we seek to promote and celebrate, and the location of the future WWP public riverfront park.
 
WHITEWATER:  Through restoration toward historic flow conditions, the Partnership will strive to improve anadromous fish passage and to establish the first public whitewater kayaking park in the region.
 
PARTNERSHIP:  WWP is a ‘by the community, for the community’ project – our membership is diverse and relies upon the support of numerous partner organizations throughout the region. As long as you share our vision, there is a role and a place for you in the WWP!
